The queen size mattress is the most popular selling mattress in America. At 80 inches long, it gives about 30 inches of sleeping width per person for a couple (at least until “Honey” starts gradually encroaching on your space in the middle of the night). If you are the queen (or king) of your own bed, you get a full 60 inches (5 feet) in width.
